Can I use the same pump from my 3.2L Floofii in the 7L fountain?
Yes! The 7L uses the same pump as the 3.2L fountain, so it’s fully interchangeable.
The only difference in the pumps is the tube length. They are still interchangeable, however you'll need to ensure your 7L Floofii is full for the 3.2L pump to run efficiently.
If you already have a Floofii, you can use your existing pump in the 7L, or swap between fountains as needed.
Are the filters the same as the 3.2L fountain?
The 7L uses a larger, higher-capacity filter designed for the bigger tank. While it’s different from the 3.2L filter, you can rest assured replacement filters are available here: 7L Replacement Filters. Every 7L fountain also comes with 6 free filters to get you started.
How often do I need to replace the filter?
Most filters last around 3 to 4 weeks depending on how many pets are using the fountain. If you have multiple pets or notice the water flow slowing down, you may need to change it a little sooner.
If the fountain is being used outdoors, the filter may need changing sooner as it is exposed to the elements.
What are the dimensions of the Floofii Fountain?
Our larger 7L Floofii Fountain measures 30cm in diameter × 13cm high, giving bigger dogs and multi-pet households plenty of room to drink comfortably.
Can the fountain be kept in direct sunlight?
We recommend keeping your Floofii fountain in a shaded area whenever possible.
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can warm the water and may encourage algae growth over time. This isn’t unique to Floofii, it can happen with any water bowl or fountain left in the sun.
Keeping the fountain shaded, combined with regular cleaning and fresh water, helps ensure the water stays clean, fresh, and enjoyable for your pet.
How do the different water flow modes work?
The Floofii™ 7L fountain has three smart modes to suit your pet’s drinking habits:
Sensor Mode: Water only flows when your pet is nearby, saving energy and keeping the fountain fresh.
Timed Mode: Water flows at set intervals, perfect for encouraging pets to drink throughout the day.
Continuous Mode: Water keeps flowing nonstop, ideal for very thirsty pets or multi-pet households. Your Floofii will need to be plugged in for continuous mode to work.
You can easily switch between modes depending on your pet’s needs, same simple controls as the 3.2L fountain.
How do I know when to clean the fountain?
We recommend giving the fountain a quick rinse every few days and a full clean (with mild soap and warm water) at least once a week. This helps prevent biofilm, hair, and dirt from building up. Note: If you have multiple pets, Your fountain may need some extra love.

DISCLAIMER: Our Floofii Fountain is designed to slow down slime, bacteria, and residue build-up, keeping your pet’s water fresher for longer than a standard bowl. In a regular dish, bacteria can start forming within a single day.
